On June 14, 2023, it was modernized at the Samus shipbuilding and cargo repair plant in Russia. The upgrade included the replacement of the two main engines and the diesel generator, as well as the improvement of the living quarters with the installation of new bathhouses, showers and laundries. The replacement of the outer hull and the repair of the main deck were also completed.
