On April 4, 2023, two tankers collided at the entrance to the Suez Canal. The tanker Aligote made a bulk on the anchored vessel Lyric Magnolia. Both tankers received surface damage. The ships are currently at anchor to investigate the incident. The canal was not blocked. No casualties have been reported.
