The vessel suffered an explosion. 

    The incident occurred in the territory of the Beilun Port Container Terminal in the Port of Zhoushan. A powerful explosion occurred in one of the containers, which was located in the bow of the vessel. Initially, abundant smoke was noticed around the container. Then the explosion occurred. 

    Fire tugs were urgently sent to the region and began intensive work to fight the fire.​ There are no reports of casualties among the crew. It is currently unknown what damage the vessel received. The Ningbo Maritime Search and Rescue Center is launching an emergency response plan.
