February 11, 2023 was hit by a container ship in the Long Tau River, Ho Chi Minh City. The container ship Resurgence hit the cargo deck behind the tank of the container ship Wan Hai 288 with its nose. What caused the incident is not reported. The ship sustained serious damage to the cargo deck and several containers on deck. After the collision, the container ship ended up on a shallow river. No casualties or oil spill reported.
