On December 24, 2022, while moored in the port of Umm Qasr, Iraq received a blow to the stern from the moored vessel Baghdad. The collision was violent, such that the container ship's rescue boat fell on the bulk carrier's tank. Detailed damage to the ships is not known. No casualties have been reported. There is no oil spill.
