On November 27, 2022, an engine failure occurred on the ship. The breakdown occurred in the western part of the English Channel, during the transition of Antwerp to Caucedo, Dominican Republic. Which led to the towing of the vessel to the port of Brest by the tugboat Abeille Bourbon for repairs.
