On January 24, 202, a fire broke out in the engine room off the coast of East Africa, during a voyage from Maputo to the port of Mombasa. The fire was contained by the team. The fire caused severe damage. The ship was towed by two tugboats RT Spirit and RT Magic to the port of Nacala. There were no casualties.
