duties:

• get acquainted with the ship's electrical circuits, units and units upon arrival and further ensure the operation of electrical units on the ship, maintain order in the rooms with electrical units;
• perform regular inspection of all units and systems, electrical boards and automatic cabinets;
• if a problem is identified, examine the existing technical documentation on the ship, understand the causes of the breakdown, in case it is impossible to repair on its own - organize (in agreement with the Captain and the Representative of the shipowner) repairs by coastal specialists, control and acceptance of repair work;
• check readiness of equipment before entering the sea;
• perform requests for repairing electrical equipment, replacing light bulbs;
• familiarize yourself with the spare parts on board and prepare a purchase requisition for the missing;
• monitor the compliance of the voltage supplied from the shore with the parameters of the ship's network in the conditions of factory repair of the vessel;
• check the grounding of the hull when the vessel is docked;
• carry the watch according to the ship's schedule.

requirements:

• English - Middle Level and Above;
• Relevant certificates and diplomas;
• Experience in working on ships as an electrician from the 1st year;
• Knowledge of ship equipment operation rules;
