the major repairs were completed,

    which affected the 40-ton crane, main and auxiliary engines, pumps, and piping systems. Specialists cleaned and painted the underwater and above-water parts of the vessel raised on the dock, repaired the propulsion and steering system, bottom and side fittings, and protective devices, and replaced damaged areas in the underwater and above-water parts of the hull.

    The vessel also underwent major repairs of radio broadcasting and navigation equipment, new sets of a stationary radio station, a radar set and a ship earth station were installed. During the overhaul, living quarters, bathrooms and a dining room were updated.
