the vessel was afloat 2.1 nautical miles from Tanjung Rhu in Langkawi. Rescue work has begun.
On July 7, 2024,
off the coast of Tanjung Rhu in Malaysia, the ship began to take on water heavily due to a crack in the 1st ballast tank. The entire crew, 10 people, was evacuated to the rescue ship Perkasa 36 due to the threat of sinking. No casualties were reported.
