On October 25, 2021, the liquidation of the torsion was completed. The Coast Guard said it was the largest rescue operation in United States history.

On September 5, 2021, the ship was completely cut up. The remaining units were prepared for the ascent.

On May 14, 2021, a severe fire occurred on the ship in a separated part of the engine room.

At the end of November 2020, the bow section was separated from the vessel.

On January 20, 2020, a major fire occurred on the ship.

In October 2019, due to a fire on the ship, corrosion from salt water and the cost of a salvage operation, it was announced that the ship would be cut into 8 pieces on site and scrapped.

September 27, 2019 2 of 4 fuel tanks have been pumped out.

September 9, 2019 4 crew members were found healthy in the aft section, but they were trapped.

On September 8, 2019, the ship listed to port and took on water through an open pilot door, after which it sank halfway under water near the port of Brunswick in Georgia, USA. The incident occurred after the ship was loaded, immediately after it headed to the port of Baltimore. 19 of the 23 crew members and the pilot were rescued.
