On November 3, 2023, the ship went beyond the edges of the shipping channel and ran aground at the 104th kilometer of the Martin Garcia Canal, on the waterway between the River Plate and the Uruguay River, Rio de la Plata. The bulk carrier is loaded with a cargo of iron ore. It is currently unknown whether the ship was damaged. No casualties or oil spills were reported.
