The vessel ran aground at the Carmeuse Americas berth in Port Dolomite, Michigan while being loaded. 

    Removing the vessel from the refloat required partially unloading it and pulling it off the refloat with tugboats. 

    As a result of the grounding, the vessel received jagged marks on the bottom through which water entered.
