On October 26, 2023, German authorities suspended the search for 4 missing sailors. Rescuers and a diving team were unable to find the missing sailors.

On October 23, 2023, the ship collided with the cargo ship Polesie and sank shortly thereafter 16 miles off the East Frisian Islands. The ship was on a voyage from Bremen to Immingham. There were 7 people on board, 4 were missing, 1 was found dead. 2 more crew members were rescued.
