On October 17, 2023, the ship was refloated by the tug Kurtarma-2 and ŞARK and, after underwater exploration, anchored in Ahırkapı. The diving service confirmed that there was no damage to the hull.

On October 16, 2023, the ship ran aground in Turkish waters, near the city of Istanbul. The cargo ship was making a voyage from Turkey to Romania. There are no reports of hull damage or oil spills. There were no casualties.
