On October 7, 2023, while anchored in the port of Tsuruga, the tanker was hit in the stern by the passing ro-ro vessel Sanstar Dream. Apparently the tanker suffered damage to the stern, but it is not known what. The tanker is loaded with ethylene glycol, a synthetic liquid substance that absorbs water. One crew member was injured.
