On June 27, 2023, the ship ran aground in the Martin Garcia Canal. The bulk carrier made a voyage from the port of Montevideo to the port of Nueva Palmira. The canal was blocked. Two tugboats were able to lift the bulk carrier afloat only a day later. There were no reports of damage to the ship's hull.
