On June 27, 2023, the ship suffered a fire that broke out in the holds with a cargo of sunflower meal. The cargo ship was under unloading in the port of Lorient. Coastal fire crews arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire. Firefighters cannot extinguish the cargo in the holds for fear of capsizing or sinking the ship. Therefore, the cargo is first unloaded ashore and, only then, is extinguished.
