On May 19, 2023, the ship was damaged by fire. The fire broke out in the engine room while the ship was at the anchorage of Kucukcekmetce, Istanbul, on the side of the Marble Sea. The fire was extinguished by the crew. It is not known what damage was done to the ship. No casualties have been reported.
