On May 5, 2023, the ship ran aground in the waters of Santa Cruz Island. The incident took place three miles from the city of Zamboanga. The freighter was making a flight from General Santos to the province of Leyte. It is not known what damage the ship received. No casualties or oil spills have been reported.
