On May 6, 2023, the ship suffered a main engine failure. The incident occurred about 3 nautical miles off the coast of South Korea, north of Phang. The ship was on a voyage from Donghae to Masan. The ship drifted dangerously close to the coast. The cause and nature of the damage is not known. No casualties have been reported.
