On May 2, 2023, the ship was damaged by a fire on the cargo on board. The coal that was being transported by the bulk carrier ignited. The incident occurred while staying at the port of La Coruña. The fire was put out with the help of coastal firefighters. What damage the ship received is not yet known. No casualties have been reported.
