On April 18, 2023, the ship suffered a grounding. The incident occurred while transporting nickel ore from Homonkhon Island to Kaofeidian District, China. The vessel ran aground 2.7 miles from the coastline of Barangay-Sulangan, Guiuan, East Samar. Stormy weather and waves are said to be the cause of the incident. There were no oil spills or casualties.
