On April 18, 2023, the ship ran aground at Ennischofdy, in Hunafloi Bay. The freighter was making a flight from Hvammstangi to Holmavik. The reasons for the incident are not yet clear. The rescue tug Freyja came to the rescue and installed a pollution barrier. At the moment, there are suspicions that the vessel has damaged the hull, the crew is waiting for a diving inspection to confirm. No casualties have been reported.
