On April 3, 2023, the ship suffered an engine failure at the entrance to the Turkish Strait of the Dardanelles. The freighter was on a flight from Egypt to Gemlik. The tugboats Kurtarma-16 and Kegm came to the rescue and put the ship in the outer road of Dark Harbor. The reasons for the incident were not reported. Traffic along the Dardanelles was not blocked.
