On March 3, 2023, a fire broke out on the ship. The flames appeared in the engine room when the ship was 32 nm northwest of Taipei, Taiwan Strait. The causes of the incident are not known. The 12 crew members escaped on a raft and were later picked up by a Taiwan Coast Guard ship. It is not known what damage the cargo ship received.
