On January 24, 2023, the ship ran aground between the islands of Ishigaki and Kohama, Okinawa Prefecture. The bulk carrier was on an Indonesian voyage to Yokkaichi, Japan, with a cargo of wood chips. The incident occurred due to stormy weather, the ship was washed aground. The entire crew, 19 people, it was decided to evacuate to the shore, for security reasons. No casualties or oil spills have been reported.
