On January 12, 2023, the ship gave a distress signal due to a strong influx of water. Water leakage was found near Wando Island, Sea of Japan, north of Hoenggando, Seoan-myeon. 4 rescue and patrol boats came to the rescue, which was able to provide the sinking ship with additional means of pumping water. He was also able to ensure the safety of all 9 crew members. The ship was able to independently move to the port of Wando.
