On August 18, 2023, two parts of the vessel were delivered to the port of Amsterdam by the semi-submersible heavy lift vessel Fjord. Removal of the wreck was carried out by TMC Marine with subcontractor Koole Contractors.

On August 31, 2022, she sank in Gibraltar, near the Catalan Bay, after a collision with the LNG tanker Adam LNG. The ship's crew had to deliberately run the bulk carrier aground to avoid complete flooding. But after running aground, the ship's hull broke, on the starboard side, into two sections. An oil spill also occurred, and rescuers set up an absorbent barrier around the ship. All 24 crew members were evacuated.
