December 10, 2022 ran aground at 170 km of the Volga-Caspian Canal. The vessel requested assistance as water was flowing into the engine room. The crew could not cope on their own. The sea diving vessel Stolny grad Yaroslavl and the icebreaker Kapitan Chechkin came to the rescue. The rescue operation was completed on 20 December. No casualties or environmental pollution have been reported.
