On July 3, 2024, the ship ran aground at the exit to the Volga River from the Buzan River. On board the cargo ship there is a 5,000 ton cargo of sulfur. The ship makes a voyage from the port of Buzan to Cherepovets. There were no reports of hull damage or casualties.

The vessel is named in honor of Alexander Igorevich Driven, former deputy head of the Volga State Basin Route and Shipping Department, also captain of Volgo-Don 143.
