India: Ship was washed aground during storm

The JSW Raigad was pulled ashore from its anchorage. 

    During a storm off the west coast of India, the ship, which was anchored without cargo, was washed ashore near the Colaba Fort in Raigad district. 

    15 crew members were evacuated by helicopter to the shore due to the dangerous situation in which the ship found itself. There are no reports of casualties or injuries. It is not known whether the ship was damaged. 

    A major salvage operation is pending to return the ship to the sea. A diving inspection will reveal damage.
