On June 28, 2024, the ship collided with the cargo ship Quan Qiang 528 while both were heading in the same direction on the Yangtze River. As a result of the collision, the ship began to take on water and sank. 6 crew members fell into the water, 4 were rescued, 2 are considered missing.
