On July 12, 2024, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) decided to reward the crew of the tanker for exceptional bravery at sea.

On January 26, 2024, the ship suffered a fire after a missile hit one of the cargo holds while the ship was in the Gulf of Aden. The missile hit the ship's starboard side amidships. The crew was able to control the fire. Nearby US naval forces came to the tanker's aid. The entire crew is safe, no injuries have been reported.
