On November 7, 2023, the ship collided with New Raouf in Bulgarian waters. The collision occurred 80 miles from the port of Varna. The railway ferry has holes in its ballast tanks, but the ship remains afloat. The ferry was forced to return to the port of Varna. There were no injuries or oil spills.
