On October 28, 2023, the ship remains aground. The leak problem has not been resolved. But news has emerged that Swedish authorities have fined two officers for negligence that led to the grounding.

On October 22, 2023, the ferry ran aground 5 nautical miles southwest of the port of Karlshamn, in Pukavik Bay. There were 71 people on board when the ship made the voyage from Trelleborg to Karlshamn. According to rescue services, all passengers were evacuated because the ship had a hole in its hull and there was water flowing in; traces of an oil leak were visible at sea.
