On October 20, 2023, the drilling ship was damaged by the floating storage facility Zafira Producer. Both vessels were located in Frederikshavn; Zafira Producer is being dismantled for scrap. During a storm, the mooring lines of the floating storage facility were torn off and piled onto the dock and onto the drilling ship. It is known that the Noble Resilient helipad was damaged and partially collapsed into the water. The entire crew was evacuated.
