On September 25, 2023, RMRS confirmed the ferry’s compliance with the provisions for the classification of maritime autonomous and remotely controlled surface vessels. The ferry is equipped with remote control systems from the control center located on Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg. The vessels are classified as RCmc-MCds based on test results.
