On April 23, 2024, the ship ran aground near Svalbard while on a tourist cruise. At the time of the incident, there were 25 people on the ship. 14 passengers were evacuated by helicopter. During high tide, the ship was able to refloat. No damage is known at this time.
On September 20, 2023, the ship suffered an engine failure while on a two-day cruise in the interior of Fenfjörður, where the Skårespi Strait enters. The cause of the breakdown is not specified. The team was unable to cope with the breakdown on its own. The Norwegian Coast Guard dispatched the vessel Þór, which was able to tow the troubled vessel and bring it to the port of Reykjavik.
In 2017, the ship was purchased by the French Foundation Latitude Blanche and rebuilt into a passenger ship for 12 guests.
