On August 23, 2023, the ship suffered an engine failure when it was in the Bosphorus strait near the Rumeli lighthouse. Two tugboats Kurtarma 11 and Kurtarma 7 put the tanker at the anchorage of Turkeli. The tanker was on a voyage from Russia to China.
