On August 19, 2023, the ship was damaged by fire. The fire started in the engine room while the ship was 43 nautical miles west of Gunsan, Korea. The team was able to localize the fire using a fire extinguishing system. All 16 crew members were evacuated. The tanker will be towed to the port of Yeosu.
