On July 31, 2023, the ship was damaged by fire. The fire occurred in the filter system in the engine room while the dredge was in the North Sea Channel, between IJmuiden and Beverwijk, the Netherlands. The fire was extinguished with the help of coastal crews. It is not known what damage the ship received. No casualties have been reported.
