On July 5, 2023, the ship took off for the Averijhaven embankment in Velsen Nord. The incident occurred during the first summer storm. The tanker was offloading cargo at the Amerikahaven port in Amsterdam and was heading for the North Sea when it met a storm in a channel and came ashore. Two tugboats were able to get the ship afloat. And the tanker went to the port of Amsterdam. What damage the tanker received is not known. No oil spill or casualties reported.
