On June 2, 2023, a fire broke out on the ship after two explosions. The incident occurred while staying at the port of Porto do Aço, Brazil. The fire was extinguished by the crew and coastal fire crews. It is not known what damage was done to the ship. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
