On May 20, 2023, the ship suffered an engine failure. The incident took place in the Dardanelles, Türkiye, in front of Kepez. The tugboat Kurtarma-14 came to the rescue and moved the bulk carrier to the roadstead in the area of the Dark Port. The ship was on a flight from Syria to Russia. The reasons for the breakdown are not known.
