On September 24, 2023, the ship suffered a gearbox failure on the starboard side, which led to the cancellation of sailings the next day.

On May 11, 2023, the ship enters the line in the UK. After a few weeks Nahad suffered a hydraulic failure.

On 5 July 2022, the ship ran aground on Swan's Island, the more northerly of two islands in the Pentland Firth between Orkney and Caithness on the Scottish mainland.
