On May 5, 2023, the ship was damaged by fire. The fire broke out in the engine room. The ship was on a flight from Singapore to Batam, with 62 passengers on board. All passengers were evacuated to the neighboring ship Merbau Era. The fire was managed by the crew. At the moment, it is not known what damage the ferry received.
