On May 3, 2023, the Vista ship was transferred from the Italian shipyard Fincantieri to the customer Oceania Cruises. The handover ceremony took place at the Genoese shipyard Sestri Ponente. The liner can accommodate about 1200 passengers and 800 crew members. The development of this Allura class was carried out by two companies Fincantieri, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. and Lloyd's Register Society.
