On April 29, 2023, the ship ran aground after a fire in the engine room. The incident took place near the pier at St. Margaret's Hope, Orkney. At the time of the grounding, there were 60 passengers on board. Everyone was evacuated, no casualties reported. The causes of the incident are not known, as well as the damage caused to the ship.
