On March 6, 2023, a fire broke out in the engine room of the ferry. A fire broke out in the Tyrrhenian Sea when the ship departed from the island of Salina. The crew was able to cope with the fire on their own. At the time of the incident, there were 2 passengers and 2 vehicles on board. No casualties have been reported. What damage the engine room received is not known.
